A black shadow climbed through the open window,  and as the thunder roared she fired her gun. Between the gunshots and the thunder her head was throbbing painfully.  There were flashing spots of light before her and she was getting a massive migraine

She was floating in a white,  bright light so fiery hot she felt as if her skin was on fire. So cold around her, she felt ice cooling her blood at the same time. Then she saw him; he was there with those piercing, demonic red eyes.  She always saw him as her angel guide, her savior; strange,  there she was like a  mischievous sprite next to him.  ”Oh hell! Now I have gone crazy!” she thought to herself.

Danielle finds herself in a dangerous situation: the middle of a room where a murder has occurred. Each of these moments can result in death or life and Danielle is not responsible for the outcome each time. One man wants her soul and one man wants to save her soul. With Danielle in the midst of struggles involving these two men, she is overwhelmed with an array of emotions. As for the two men, one of them is her soulmate and the other has betrayed her. Was Danielle the one that committed murder or was it someone else? Which man will Danielle choose or will she choose herself instead?

Dark Night of the Soul offers readers a plot that moves between various moments and situations that are both erotic and suspenseful. Danielle is a passionate woman that must fight to survive and for love. This story offers a cast of additional characters surrounding Danielle which bring pleasant and painful struggles, compassion, and devotion into the fast-moving plot. Although this story can be read rather quickly, it will still leave readers guessing until the end and pleased with the journey they take to get there. Brianna Martini has done a good job at creating an involved plot within a short number of pages. This is a unique paranormal story earning 4 Angels in the process!
